At Be Kind to Yourself Therapy, my approach is rooted in one core belief: when people feel safe, understood, and supported, real change becomes possible. I’m an Individual and Couples Therapist who uses CBT, REBT, ACT, CFT, and relational approaches to turn evidence-based psychology into practical, everyday tools. My work is all about helping busy, high-functioning people slow down enough to hear themselves again, to reconnect with their inner world so they can show up more fully in their outer one.
I don’t believe in therapy is a place to “fix” what’s wrong with you; I treat it as a space to understand what’s going on inside with compassion, clarity, and curiosity. Together, we explore the patterns, beliefs, and emotional habits that have been running the show, and we build skills that help you move from overwhelm, self-criticism, and disconnection to stability, confidence, and deeper connection in your relationships.
What makes my practice unique is the blend of warmth, honesty, and practicality. I’m not a silent therapist, I’m collaborative, down-to-earth, and gently challenging when needed. I bring humour, humanity, and real talk into the room, alongside a deep respect for your lived experience.
