Modern workplaces are increasingly recognising the emotional and psychological impact of high-pressure roles. Many organisations now seek therapeutic support to protect staff wellbeing, reduce burnout, and promote sustainable working environments. We work with a wide range of professional settings where individuals are exposed to emotional demand, responsibility, risk, or trauma.
I bring together a rich mix of professional and creative experience. My 33 years’ experience in senior government roles (spanning marketing, finance, investigation, audit, national programme leadership and project management) has enabled me to understand people, systems and organisational dynamics across many working areas (including legal, financial (e.g. directors, CEOs, CEs & COs etc) and other professionals.
With over 20 years experience, my support integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to address specific unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior, Clinical Hypnosis (CH) to explore deep-seated issues and mindfulness techniques to enhance self-awareness, appreciation and gratitude.
CBT is a goal-oriented therapeutic approach which I specialise in; this power intervention empowers clients to challenge negative thought patterns and behaviours (while promoting balance and perspective). I specialise in anxiety-related disorders (e.g. performance anxiety, social anxiety, agoraphobia and panic-related issues) equipping individuals with the necessary tools to manage life's challenges.
Hypnotherapy is a proven treatment for managing emotional situations (like anxiety, depression, anger, guilt etc as well as phobias, performance anxiety, weight management) and for reinforcing cognitive and behavioural change). Sessions typically following a series of CBT sessions (or can be combined to complement one another).
Mindfulness is a key element of my practice, providing a non-judgmental and compassionate approach to cultivating present-moment awareness. This technique encourages a deep appreciation for life, skills, experiences and the environment, while nurturing self-compassion and kindness toward others. MFN is a proven technique for managing anxiety, anger, depression and improving personal focus.
